For the community, by the community. NGO pioneered by Anti-Drug Activist and author of Dear Dad Letter to President JZ in May 2013 highlighting the country’s drug problem. The Yellow Ribbon Foundation was founded by Dereleen James. In 2013 broke the silence and stigma of families suffering through the scourge of drug and substance abuse.

Dereleen James, who is an anti-drug activist, community leader and founder of YRF said that just like slavery, apartheid and all the struggles South Africa has had, it is up to us, as South Africans to put an end to poverty. On Saturday, July 20, The Yellow Ribbon Foundation (YRF)
